The Knowtify platform (aka “Knowtify App”, “Knowtify Web Portal”, “Knowtify Website”) is designed, built and provided by Allied Vision Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (aka “We”, “Our”, “Us”), a company registered in India under the Companies Act, 1956. For the purposes of this Terms of Service Agreement, ‘you / your’ refers to the ‘user’ of our services as outlined in the following sections.
We are building a futuristic online platform for you to “receive authentic information from authorised sources”. The platform also facilitates you to send authentic information to your own staff/users provided you register your organisation (aka “Proprietary Firm/LLC/Private Business/Public Business/NGO/Trust/Local Governing Body and Housing Society”) and get it verified via our standard verification process (aka “KYC”, “CKYC”).
We comply with the privacy of data that we collect from you as explained in the “Privacy Policy” (available at Privacy Policy) section.
To provide our services (as described below) through the Knowtify Platform, we need your agreement on our Terms of Service.
Knowtify stands for “Know The Information for You”. We are on a mission to help everyone get the right information, securely, freely and easily from intended sources only. Our tagline 'Authentic Information from Authorised Source' sensibly brings out the purpose and core functionality of the platform.
As a Knowtify App User (you as an “Information Consumer”), be assured that all the information you receive over a secured channel has relevance, authenticity, genuineness and the sources of information are authorised by us via standard verification process! Knowtify App is an omnichannel platform (Single Application) to connect you to various Information Boards which are closer to your heart and matters most to you. The platform is a one way communication channel for you to receive communication; where forwards, capturing screenshots and data copy is prohibited to maintain sanctity of information. This shall significantly save your time in filtering and reading intended information as we make sure that your world is free of spams, scams and garbage. The platform promises guaranteed delivery and integrity of information, free of ads forever. There are absolutely no charges to use the app now and forever! In order to use these services, your age (Role as an “Information Consumer”) must be 13 years and above.
Knowtify platform facilitates connecting Information Consumers with Information publishers via Private and Public Information board. We make sure that sources of information are authorised and genuine so recipients do not receive spams, garbage and abusives information.
As an App User or Web Portal User (you as an “Information Publisher/ Organisation User”), the platform facilitates you to register and authenticate your organisation, create your own private/public information board, compose, review and publish information to your own staff/users on the created board. We make sure that your organisation is a genuine one via standard verification process (aka CKYC- Corporate Verification Process) so users receive authentic information from verified sources like your organisation. The “KnowtifyOne Board” is a unique feature provided to publish information to all platform users provided you get approval from our admin team to publish information on the KnowtifyOne Board. Our admin team shall make sure that the information being posted on the “KnowtifyOne Board” is neither news nor promotions causing user boards to be flooded with unwanted spam/garbage information. In order to use these features, you (as an Information Publisher) should be authorised by your organisation to register and own the Information Board and your age must be 18 years and above.It is your responsibility to not spam recipients information boards with garbage or abusive or intended information. The platform must be used diligently to send only relevant and authentic information.
As an App user or Web Portal user, the “KnowtifyOne Board” is a unique feature provided to publish information to all platform users provided you get approval from our admin team to publish information on the KnowtifyOne Board. Our admin team shall make sure that the information being posted on the “KnowtifyOne Board” is neither news nor promotions causing user boards to be flooded with unwanted spam/garbage information.
To improve the security of your account, as well as to prevent spam, abuse, and other violations of Terms of Service, we may collect data such as your IP address, devices, etc. If collected, this data can be kept for moderation, analysis and further actions to prevent abuse. For information consumers- we store only the bare minimum data of information consumers which is used to publish authentic information to them.
For information publishers- we store only the bare minimum data of information publishers which is used to verify and authorise them and their businesses to publish authentic and correct information. We prohibit dilution of information by not allowing any follow ups/comments on the received information by any user.
Any information getting published has to go through one round of review and moderation by an authorised publisher before getting sent to the end user. This shall maintain the integrity of information sent to recipients.
As an Information Consumer or Publisher of Information, both Knowtify App and Knowtify Web Portal provides seamless experience to users. The most important services such as consuming and publishing the information have been provided on mobile app. The purpose of the Web portal is to provide additional services such as managing business users, insights and analytics about information delivered to consumers.
In order to make our services better and enhance user experience, we obtain network connectivity information, analytics information (such device crashlytics and logs) and user behaviour (such as interaction of users on various screens and usage of features).
Knowtify tries to be transparent with its users in terms of services terms, privacy policy via clear rules and not in a favor to enter into any disputes. However, in the event of any dispute regarding content, trademarks, information published, authenticity of the information, copyrights, etc. it should be resolved via discussions and as a last resort in the jurisdiction of India Pune.
We strive hard to provide best in class services to our valuable customers. Our services in terms of Knowtify App, Knowtify Web portal are provided “as is” and we make no guarantees that they will always be safe, secure or error-free, or that they will function without disruptions, delays or imperfections. In no event, we will be liable for any damage, direct or indirect losses or expenses arising in connection with website, web portal, Knowtify app or use thereof inability to use by any person, delay of operation or transaction, delivery of information, computer virus etc. We can’t predict when issues may arise with our services. Thus, our liability shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and under no circumstances will we be liable to you for any lost profits, revenues, information, or consequential, special, indirect, exemplary, punitive or incidental damages arising out of or related to these Terms. We also disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including the fitness for a particular use, title and noninfringement We shall take utmost care to verify the authenticity of the publisher; however, we do not govern fully the published information for any private or public information board(s) by any means. We have all rights to prevent publishers from publishing malicious content.
We want our information consumers and publishers to use the platform diligently to make it trustworthy and authentic one! However, if we found there is any breach in Terms of Service and Data privacy violation then accounts of users shall be suspended or deactivated. If such behaviour is consistent then these accounts may be permanently deleted and all data shall be lost.
